The ideal complement to plaster for creating high-performance insulation, expanded polystyrene (EPS) is frequently used in building because it is effective, sustainable and environmentally friendly.
EPS - NATURAL AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
In fact, steam is the only element used in its production.
It preserves natural resources and the ozone layer because it contains no destructive gases such as CFCs, HCFCs or HFCs. Composed of 98% air, its production requires very little energy and its use allows for significant savings. It thus contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Fully recyclable, it is non-polluting and, unlike other, so-called’natural’insulation products, it sets itself apart as the preferred material.
COMFORT, HEALTH, AND SAFETY : biologically neutral and stable over time, it presents no health risks. Its basic component (styrene monomer) is present in its natural state in plants and many foods.
